An awesome inter-generational poetry reading featuring an amazing line up of readers, an open mic session where you are welcome to read in either Swahili or English, a poetry book exhibition, Music, BBQ and cocktails to make your friday night worth it. All this in a cozy outdoor space at Soma Book Cafe. Karibu Sana.

July 25, 2015 4pm to 10pm - Nafasi Art Space
Chap Chap Poetry Performance Co-organized by Fete Jen (The Lyricist Lounge), Waka Poetry Consortium, La Poetista and Nafasi Art Space. At chap chap a range of events will be be happening from 4pm, including prompt writing sessions and a writers dialogue. The climax will be the Chap Chap Spoken word performance, hip hop and music.
