Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Sophie has a background in publishing (previously working with Tanzanian publisher Mkuki na Nyota Publishers) and currently works within the tech startup ecosystem. She is the co-founder of Moto, a writers group, founder & editor of Kalamu, a literary magazine, and co-organizer of TEDxIlala.
