French Film Director and Scriptwriter.
Born in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), in 1980, Katell Quillévéré studied film and philosophy at the University of Paris 8. In 2004, she founded and organized with Sébastien Bailly the first three editions of the Rencontres du Moyen-Métrage in Brive.
At the same time, she directed À bras le corps, her first short, discovered at the Directors' Fortnight and selected for the 2007 Césars. Subsequently she made two other shorts, L'Imprudence (2007), and L'Echappée (2009), which were seen in numerous festivals.
Un poison violent (2010) is her first feature film.
