Sanaa Central
Ajaba Issa was born in the Nakapaya village on 6th June 1984. His sister Aweta took him to Dar es Salaam when he was around 16 years old. His older brother Akilimali taught him to paint in 2002 but it was first in 2003 when he entered the Tingatinga Cooperative. Now there are three brothers who paint in Tanzania. Ajaba Issa and Akilimali Issa who paint in Dar es Salaam and Issa Issa who paints in Zanzibar and uses the artistic name Faras. Ajaba Issa lives in Mbagala in Dar es Salaam.
