SOUND OF KILI

Sounds of Kili' is a initiative to create Tanzania's first music industry showcase and conference event, to be held in June 2016 in conjunction with KiliFair, a tourism industry trade fair in Moshi, Tanzania. The event will combine elements of a public music festival, an industry showcase, and a conference with keynote speakers, panels, discussion groups, and workshops. A unique element of 'Sounds of Kili' will be its artists residency, where participating musicians will live together and participate in informal jam sessions and networking activities throughout the 3-day event. Artists residency will be taking place at the Red Mokey Lodge in Zanzibar.
