Sanaa Central
Chuano is a stage play translated into Swahili by Paukwa Theatre Group from "The Contest", written by Mukotani Rugyendo, a Ugandan playwright. This play portrays the contest of two heroes who represent two different societies; WAMUNGWE and WAZANIYA. These two societies are struggling for the development of their people, but each society has its own opinions on how to reach their goal - should it be through authority and hierarchy or through unity and cooperation? Who will win the contest?
