EGYPTIAN PHOTO JOURNALIST & Film DIRECTOR

Ziad HASSAN is a photo-journalist and film director.
He is known for his film OUR WEAPON (2011).

After studying Communication and Media at the University of Modern Arts and Sciences of Egypt, he became a photojournalist and produced short documentaries, in filmmaking training workshops, in particular the Ateliers Varan in Cairo in 2011 and 2012. Since then, he has also directed short fiction films and participated in photographic exhibitions.

He is currently resuming his studies in visual arts at the Cantonal School of Art in Valais, Switzerland.
