Born in 1948 in Sousse, he graduated from INSAS (Brussels). Journalist, teacher, producer, he worked as assistant director with Moufida Tlatli, Ferid Boughedir, Nouri Bouzid, Mohamed Zran Lajimi Mokhtar, among others.
