Born in 1966 in Asilah (Morocco), he moved to Paris in 1985. After receiving a diploma from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes and a Higher Education diploma in the Plastic Arts, he worked as assistant editor on several feature films before being promoted to editor. Since 1993 he has combined directing and producing. Notably he has produced L'Enfance égarée (CM) by C. Ruggia, Couleurs d'enfants (CM) by B. Guerdjou, Quand le soleil fait tomber les moineaux (CM) by H. Legzouli and Fantômes de Tanger (LM) by E. Cozarinsky. He has also made three shorts : Un Américain à Tanger (1993), Le Café de la plage (1998) and A travers le miroir (2000).
His feature documentary Hercule contre Hermès (2012 provoks a dozen of trials from the Hermes' heir and he won the Best Documentary Francophone Trophy2014 (Dakar / Paris).
