With the help of an "A B C" as guiding principle, this book takes us through the yesterday, today, tomorrow of contemporary Africa, a very much alive Continent. With its many texts and illustrations, it is aimed at all ages, from young to old, whether at school or at home.

This book is also the extension of an International Exhibition which took place in two countries -Kenya and Burkina Faso- and it takes us behind the scenes, through the "staging" processes, the collective ideas and thoughts, plans, sketches, pencil marks which served to build this magnificent set....
