De Paris à New York via l'Afrique rêvée, Giuseppe De Vecchi filme une rencontre-laboratoire au cours de laquelle le saxophoniste Jacques Schwarz-Bart et l'artiste haïtien Erol Josué créent un spectacle présenté au festival Banlieues bleues. En convergence, l'écrivaine guadeloupéenne Simone Schwarz-Bart évoque les racines créoles du jazz.
