Bénéré is a ten years old brillant pupil. She loses prematurely her father in an accident, but they hide her death. The family will be disunited. In addition to that, we have the covetousness of her uncle and the worst thing is her mother's jealousy concerning her school successes. It results in a series of dramatic events.
